The 2011 Performers Playhouse Youth Drama Camp travelled to Piapot First nation, Ile a-la-Crosse, Buffalo Narrows, Carry The Kettle First Nation and Saskatoon. Here is what some of the youth of the program had to say:

 

'I learned that it is better  to express your mind to new things than to just stick with one thing.'

 

'I learned about different parts of stage. For example down stage centre, upstage centre and so on.'

 

'I felt pretty amazed because I never new this stuff.'

 

'I will tell everyone I know and keep learning.'

 

'Practise at my house and show my mom, dad and brother Lucas.'

 

'Maybe someday I will be an actress.'

 

'I had fun with all my new friends.'

 

'I felt comfortable coming to drama camp .'

 

'I connected with the people I didn’t know.'

 

'I learned to step outside my comfort zone.'

 

'I learned new things such as theatrical warm ups, like tableaux, four pillars and different kinds of exercises.'

 

'I felt good and the whole week was fun.'

 

'I feel good, because I learned different things and how to be on stage and how theater is.'

 

'I’ll tell my bros what I did in drama camp.'

 

'Tell my parents , do this kind of camp again.'

 

'I connected pretty good. Could’ve been connected better and because Forest and Kadane were kewl.'

 

'I feel happy to learn new things , I learned new games and different types of audiences.'

 

'I had so much fun because this play was my first time doing this.'
