Tribe of Improv Improvisation Workshop

Tribe of Improv is part of SNTC's mandate to reach out to Aboriginal youth in the Saskatoon community.  This year the company offers an 8 week improv workshop for youth taught by a respected professional currently residing in Saskatoon.  The class will be open to all youth ages 17 to 29 interested in learning improvisation or honing their current skills.  Cost is only $45 for 5 evenings of instruction and three live performances.  Classes begin October 17 at 220 20th St W in The Two Twenty Den.  Call 933-2262 to register or for more information.

The classes will be taught by Trevor Cameron.  Trevor is a Gemini Award winning writer and actor in addition to being nominated for his direction. His script entitled “Hardest Lesson” for Wapos Bay, which he also directed, won several awards and nominations including the Geminis for Writing, Directing and Music.  He also won 1st prize for an animated TV program at the 27th annual Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, and Best Animation at the American Indian Film Festival in San Fransisco.  For Trev's complete bio click on the Special Events tab on the sntc.ca home page.
