Milestones and Accomplishments
- Registered as a Saskatchewan Non-profit Corporation in January 1999
- Registered as a Charitable Organization in Canada since January 2004 (87174 5154 RR0001)
- More than 12 professional productions completed
- More than 20 community productions completed
- An established presenter of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Theatre and multi-disciplinary artists
- From 1999 to 2008 ran an eight-month cultural theatre program for at risk Aboriginal youth called the Circle of Voices
- Circle of Voices had a 95% completion rate with 100% of graduates gaining a stronger sense of their First Nations and Metis identity
- From 2005 to 2009 SNTC's Ensemble Theatre Arts and Red Spirit Programs provided more advanced acting training
- Used Aboriginal theatre arts programming as an education tool in diverse sectors including health, justice & culture. Developed youth artists and enhanced communities through summer theatre camps.
- Established festivals that link our theatre community with literary arts and music. These included the Anskohk Literature Festival and Gathering our Artists Symposium
