In March 2012 Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company (SNTC) was part of La Troupe du Jour’s inaugural Discovery Festival of playwriting and translation. The weekend event was a huge success and we are slated to submit another work for the festival in the upcoming 2012/2013 theatre season. SNTC has recently joined La Troupe du Jour at their new Production Centre where it rents office and production space. We are excited about an opportunity to work closely with our colleagues here, and to use their English surtitle technology to bring another First Nations translation to our Saskatoon audience.
